Adult Yoga

Adults experience yoga in a way that begins with the body, then penetrates deeply into the mind. Sessions are designed for EVERYONE, regardless of age, fitness ability, or body type. Instruction of postures is given systematically, with careful attention to detail. Through precise alignment, sequencing, and the use of props, these classes not only bring health and equanimity to students, but they are a lab for learning about your body and accessing the stillness in your mind.

Besides overall well-being, yoga may also address:

  • insomnia / fatigue
  • back pain
  • digestive issues
  • hormonal imbalance
  • menopause or problems related to menstruation
  • anxiety / depression

Candis is a Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher and currently teaches ADULT YOGA in Santa Monica and Hermosa Beach.  Please contact her for days/times.  She is also available for private lessons and small groups.
